Saturday, September 4, 2021, marks the 19th Annual Run and Walk for the Gym 5k.
Race day signup begins at 7:00 a.m. at Nasson Community Center and Little Theater, please park in the Nasson Common, 457 Main St, Springvale, ME Village (Sanford).
The 5K Run and Walk begins at 8:30 a.m. at Nasson Common near the library, there will also be a free kids (9 and under) "Fun Run" at 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot.
There will be awards in the following categories:
1st place male and female
2nd place male and female
Top 3 in 5 year increment age groups, starting at 10 (including 90+)
The entry fee is as follows:
For the general public, $20 to register online or check by mail, $25 same day registration
Grades 1-12 - $10 to register online or check by mail, $15 same day registration
Ages 65-79 - $15 to register online or check by mail, $25 same day registration
Ages 80+ - $10 to register online or check by mail, $25 same day registration
Kids Fun Run, Ages 9 and under - Free
T-shirts will be given to the first 150 participants and there will be a raffle held for all participants after the race.
